We’re delighted to host David and Philippa Stroud for a national Pioneer church leaders day on Tuesday 25th September at YWAM Harpenden. We’re opening up this day to all Pioneer church leaders, leadership teams and those in our churches with a particular heart for cultural and social transformation.
One of our stated strategic objectives is to ‘train leaders who will shape society’ and David and Philippa carry a wealth of experience in this area.
David Stroud is the founding pastor of Christ Church London, a church that works for the cultural, social & spiritual renewal of the city. The church meets on four sites across the capital, with a fifth site starting this autumn. David has trained people to start churches in many parts of the world. He is the founder of the Everything Conference, an annual event that equips Christians to work for the cultural renewal of their communities and regularly hosts gatherings for church leaders and those engaged in working for the renewal of culture.
Philippa Stroud [Baroness Stroud] is the Chief Executive of the Legatum Institute, formerly the Chief Executive of the Centre for Social Justice, Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and additionally to the Prime Minister. Philippa was made a life peer in October 2015.
