- Women Who Lead – Linda Ward & Ness Wilson
One of the distinctives of Pioneer is that we have pioneered in both the theology and practice of women in leadership for many years. That means across the Network there are many women leading at all levels. In this context of freedom to lead, we also recognise the unique challenges that face women in leadership. These can be the internal battles around confidence, or not fitting within a perceived ‘model’ of women in leadership, leadership styles, or they can be the external challenges of being a single woman in leadership, or a mum juggling the priorities of wanting to lead well and deliver on leadership responsibilities whilst at the same time being emotionally connected and fully present to her children. This seminar will explore all this and more…
- Leadership Across The Church – Linda Ward & Phil Emerson
Leadership across the church involves transformation across the spheres of influence, the redemption of the “e” (evangelism) word, developing a prayer strategy across villages, towns and cities, connecting with civic authorities and becoming unstuck where we could become stuck. Come and explore stories to encourage, inspire and release.

Exploring things such as: what does public leadership mean? How can we maintain a Kingdom perspective? How are Christian values expressed in public leadership? Is there a place for ‘witness’ in public leadership? How do we cope with critical media? How do we maintain family and church with the demands of public roles? How does local church support those with extra-local or national roles?
- Leadership that Crosses Cultures – Richard Anniss & Kofo Bolarin
We all love to quote Paul when we assert that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile but the reality is that we still find a lot of cultural separation and segregation across the churches in our nation. Simply saying the right things about churches and leaders from other cultures will not be sufficient. This seminar will explore some of the challenges as well as the fantastic opportunities of multi-cultural church and will emphasise the importance of multi-cultural leadership.
- Prophetic Leadership – Sue Singh & Rachel Harris
Hearing God’s voice and seeing salvation is what we would love to see more of in our church culture. In this seminar we want to explore these two strands that have been an important part of the pioneer movement. We will explore how to live life being supernaturally aware and what it would look like if the church fully engaged and recognised her full potential.
